Wataniya Telecom Maldives is pleased to announce its partnership with TransferTo, to offer international credit transfer services for the first time in the Maldives.
Through this service, Wataniya prepaid customers can instantly recharge mobile phones used by friends and family overseas with a simple request via SMS.
Wataniya's Commercial Director Mohamed Rifau Ibrahim, said, "within our communities, we often have our family and loved ones living overseas. With the TransferTo service, Wataniya customers can now easily transfer valuable credit to their mobile phones and make it even easier to keep in touch. To use this service, customers can send the destination mobile number (including the country code) to 4046, and follow instructions send via SMS.
For expatriates working in the Maldives, this is also an ideal way to complement their monthly money transfers, enabling secure, real-time international credit transfer to family back home.
