TransferTo the global mobile airtime transfers company, today announced that it is partnering with China Mobile Hong Kong to offer mobile stored value recharge top-up service for the Rekanan prepaid card users of China Mobile Hong Kong.
International workers, travellers and visitors who are using China Mobile's Rekanan prepaid cards in Hong Kong may now recharge the prepaid mobile phone of their relatives back home in Indonesia. To perform a top-up, the sender simply needs to enter the amount and destination number and send it via SMS. Transaction is processed in real-time through TransferTo secure platform; both sender and receiver are immediately notified by SMS.
The solution is mainly offered to foreign communities; migrant workers and visitors who maintain strong ties with their families and relatives abroad. Although they send part of their earnings every month directly to the household head, they still lack an appropriate service for sending smaller amounts to the rest of their family. TransferTo comes as the perfect solution for giving out airtime recharge as a gift on special occasions such as birthdays, festivals or celebrations.
This innovative service is available for mobile top-up to Indonesia and is triggered through the keyword "Pulsa" standing for "Minute" in Bahasa Indonesia. Users can send credit reload from HK$ 13 to HK$ 103 equivalent to recharges ranging from IDR 10,000 to IDR 100,000. The recipient can use the denomination according to its mobile operator's standard terms and conditions.
"We are very enthusiastic about this partnership as the service has a great untapped potential in Hong Kong", says Eric Barbier, Managing Director, TransferTo. "We provide China Mobile Hong Kong with a consistent airtime transfer quality of service within our international network and we ensure an end-to-end traceability and security to avoid frauds and disputes." TransferTo complies with the telecom industry codes of conduct and follows laws and remittance regulations enforced in each country within its network. The service is mainly offered by mobile operators through phone to phone and is currently deployed at an international level in Asia, the Middle-East, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
